The 4 Layers of a Professional Quote
A true, fixed quote requires a site visit to assess four crucial elements:
- 1. The Existing Surface: Stripping a flat, dead lawn is fast. Digging out 6 inches of compacted builder's rubble requires excavators and heavy waste removal fees.
- 2. Access: Can we park a grab lorry next to the lawn, or do we have to wheelbarrow 10 tonnes of soil through your terraced house hallway?
- 3. Soil Import: Does the ground need 2 inches of topsoil, or a massive 6-inch deep-rooting base to fix waterlogging?
- 4. The Turf Itself: Are we laying standard meadow grass, or premium, heavy-duty stadium turf?
